The evolution of Facebook from a college based social networking site to a dominating global internet presence has been a tremendous thing to watch. With the site's incredibly easy-to-use interface combined with a focus on users rather than revenue, the growth of Facebook has been nothing short of amazing. Presently, there are more than 400 million people that use the site around the world, and TodayForward is one of them.
Personal Finance Articles
Last month, we linked our blog to Facebook so our fans can receive our personal finance articles in their news feeds. This content is available for free whether through the blog directly or through Facebook, but by connecting with fans via news feeds, it makes finding quality information on personal finance that much easier. In addition, our fans will also see links to other useful content that we post from time to time exclusively on Facebook.
Product Updates
As we continue through our last cycle of product development before a wide release later this year, fans will be able to keep up with our progress. This includes announcements of new functionality, updates on bug fixes, and any other changes to the product. In conjunction with these announcements, we'll also update photo albums to illustrate these changes.
Register Feedback
One of the great things about Facebook is fans can register feedback and actually get a response. Unlike traditional web-based comment forms where anything entered seems to vanish into a black hole, Facebook allows for easy and fully transparent two-way communications. If you like something we're doing, tell us about it. If you don't like something tell us and we'll get to work on addressing it. Either way, Facebook offers a superior way to interact with businesses.
...and More
Beyond all of this, fans will also receive invitations to special events and other promotions as well as be able to download a variety of video content that will be coming this fall. Also, when we develop applications for mobile phones and social networking sites, they will all be announced via Facebook. The bottom line is that we recognize Facebook as the fastest and easiest way to deliver up-to-date information about personal finance and our company. As a fan, you'll always be the first to know about what we're doing at TodayForward.
